Day 2

We got up and headed out to finish off the last leg of our journey to Pleasant Grove, Utah. Mike's car insurance was re-upped at midnight the previous night, so he got to drive today. Consequently, I took some Dramamine and got very sleepy.

A couple of hours later a challenge presented itself. Jen had pulled up next to us and noticed that the inside left rear tire was flat (the rv had dualies in the back). We pulled over to fix it and discovered the next two challenges. First, we didn't bring a tire iron to get the tire off, and the key to unlock the spare was missing as well.

So, we got to enjoy the Utah scenery for an hour while we waited for AAA to come and rescue us. Fortunately, it was just a loose valve that caused the flat. The AAA guy pulled the tires off, fixed the loose valve, re inflated us, and we were on our way. God is good.

We got to our destination about 5:00 pm. Our first stop was Calvary Chapel Mountain view were we met with Steve the associate pastor. He invited us to the College and Career bible study that night. After heading to the guys lodging, unloading, and getting the ladies loaded up to head to their lodging, we went back to the church.

Pastor Steve gave an incredible study on the good Samaritan. He shared Christians have a tendency sometimes to walk past the Mormons who have been beat up and left for dead by a false religion. We were encouraged to be the one who stops to help them, pick them up, feed them, give them a place to stay, and love them.

After that we went home to bed down for the night. Pictures below.
